How Consulting Differs from Therapy
Consulting addresses organizational challenges, strategic decision-making, and professional development. This is distinct from the clinical therapy services GAC’s licensed therapists provide. It draws on business expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership experience rather than mental health training.
When an engagement benefits from a clinical lens ,for example, leadership coaching where mental health issues directly impact performance, or organizational change after team trauma Erin can bring in a GAC therapist as a collaborator with the client’s consent.
Both services support growth and transformation—therapy for personal wellness, consulting for professional and organizational effectiveness. At times Erin will collaborate with the therapists at Greenwich Advanced on consulting projects where a therapeutic lens is beneficial.
